Life Legacy
Catherine Marie Cornelison Nelson was born in Alexandria, Louisianna to Fred and Billie Cornelison of Metter, GA. Cathy was the devoted wife of Bruce Albert Nelson and loving mother to Alana Nicole Nelson, both of Crofton, MD. She is survived by her siblings William Fred & Wendy Cornelison of Augusta, Georgia; Debra and Rev. Robert Degges of Waldorf, MD, and James Cornelison of Jessup, MD. Cathy was the sister-in-law to David Nelson, Chris Nelson & Kathy Heuer, and Eric & Beth Nelson. Cathy was the aunt of Beth and Andrew & Kelli Degges; William, Joseph, Matthew and Grace Cornelison; Danielle and Alyssa Nelson; and David and Michael Nelson and the great-aunt of Brinleigh Degges. Cathy is also survived by her uncles Rocky Golden of Upper Marlboro, MD, James Golden of Berkley Springs, WV, and aunts Becky Perry and her husband Tom of Florida and Ruby Bunch of Florida, and Sharon of WV. She was loved by a host of cousins and life-long friends.
