Life Legacy
Allan E. King, 106, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2013, in Perry, GA. Dr. Kiing was born in Lawrenceville, PA, to Joseph T. King and Martha Rooney King. A graduate of Georgetown University Medical School, he was a practicing OB/GYN in D.C. for over 50 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and is possibly the oldest surviving veteran. Shortly after retirement, he moved to Perry, GA and resided there for the last 28 years.
He is preceded in death by his siblings, Hugh C. King, Joseph King, Martha L. King and Mary King Wells, one niece and three nephews and one great nephew. He is survived by 8 nephews and nieces, 29 great-nephews and nieces and over 55 great-great nephews and nieces.
