On Tuesday, November 14, 2017, of Timonium, MD. Loving mother of Vasi Lea Karas and her husband Avraam Karas. Beloved grandmother of Constantine Karas, Demetri Karas and Nicholas Karas. Predeceased by her former husband James Andrew. Dear sister of Connie Benner, the late Frances Antonas and Helen Warkmeister. Also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 2 to 5pm at Peaceful Alteratives Funeral Home, 2325 York Rd, Lutherville Timonium, MD with a Trisagion service at 4pm. Mary will lie in state at the Greek Orthodox Cemetery Chapel, 5917 Windsor Mill Road, Baltimore, MD on Monday, November 20, 2017 from 10 to 10:30am followed by a funeral service at 10:30am.  Interment at the Greek Orthodox Cemetery.  Contributions may be made in her memory to the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation, 24 W. Preston St., Baltimore, MD 21201.
