On Thursday, November 24, 2016, a resident of Crofton for over 50 years. Beloved husband, of 33 years, of the late Barbara Stanton and also the late Mary Beth Stanton. Loving father of Linda Neal and the late Roger Neal, George J. Stanton, Jr. and his wife Lisa, Susan C. Conwell and her husband Brian and stepchildren Beth, Michael and Christine Johnson. Grandfather of Pete Neal, Rose Neal, Josie Neal and Thomas Stanton. George enjoyed his family, hunting, fishing, and golfing.   Family will receive friends on Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 10:30 to 12pm at the family-owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD, with a funeral service at 12:00pm. Interment, private.
