On Thursday, February 5, 2015, of College Park, MD. Beloved husband of Betty Stargel Wood; devoted father of Robert James Wood (Carol), Thomas Henry Wood (Denise), and the late Charles C. Wood, III (Nancy), Scott Stargel (Lanie), Ray Stargel (Maureen), Ken Stargel, and Rob Stargel; also survived by many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends at the family-owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Sunday, February 8, 2015 from 2 to 4 p.m., with a funeral service at 4 p.m. Interment, Thursday, February 19, 2015, 1 p.m. at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Community United Methodist Church's Sassafras Group, Crofton, MD.
