Alfred Williams Jr.

Crofton, Maryland - Alfred Williams, Jr., age 89, departed this life on January 18,2015 at Crofton Care Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his wife Gloria B. Williams, and a daughter, Eileen Rogers. Mr. Williams is survived by 2 sons Trevino Williams(Michelle),and Darius Williams(Alfreda), 2 daughters, Ismay Bolding(Derek), and Brianne Williams(Jamie). He also leaves behind 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and an abundance of friends and family. Alfred was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam War, where he earned the Purple Heart medal, and several other distinguished awards and medals. As a child, he grew up in Washington, D.C. He served 29 years in the United Sates Army First Air Calvary. He received commendations for his dedication and bravery. The discipline and patriotism he learned in the United States Army never left him, as friends and family will attest. Services will be held at Beall Funeral Home, in Crofton, Maryland at a later date with an intermittent at Arlington Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.
