Charles Dean Lucas

Charles "Buddy" Lucas died January 12 after battling a long illness. He grew up in Bowie and graduated Bowie High School in 1969. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the Marines during the Vietnam War '69 to '71. He was honorably discharged. Buddy became a Journeyman Electrician and ended his career enjoying his position at Home Depot in Pasadena. He is preceded in death by his brother, Guy Lucas and sister, Catherine Lucas He is survived by his wife, Kaireen C. Lucas; son, Chris Lucas; brother, Philip Lucas; and two sisters, Charlean Long and Golda Robinson. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday January 23 at the Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy, where a funeral will be held 10 a.m., Friday, January 24. Interment will follow at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville.
