George F. Keene

On Saturday, December 14, 2013, of Bowie, MD, in the company of his loving family. George retired in 1977 from the Washington D.C. Police Department as a Lieutenant in the 2nd District. He also worked side by side with his family at Jim's Air Compressor for 20 years. Anyone who knew him knew he loved to travel; especially when it came to taking a cruise. He also enjoyed his time as a member of the Belair Square Cats. Beloved husband of Ruth Keene; loving father of Karen Winters and husband James, Shirley Pena, Laurie Musser and husband David, and Cindy Vinson and husband Thomas; also survived by 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
