Marguerite M. Mattison

Marguerite Moss Mattison, 94, of Bowie, MD died Wednesday, July 17, 2013. She was born Oct. 22, 1918 in Danville, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Mattison, step-son, Denny, her brothers Charles and Lawrence, and her sister Nan. She is survived by her son, Michael, step-daughter-in-law, Leah, two grandchildren, Sarah and Ashley, five great-grandchildren, her sister, Barbara, brother, Alvin, and various nieces and nephews. Marguerite was a long-time, active member and leader of Bethany Lutheran Church in Suitland, MD and more recently of All Saints Lutheran Church in Bowie. She devoted much of her life to church functions and activities. She also retired at the age of 72 from the Association of the U. S. Army (AUSA).
