On Wednesday, January 16, 2013, Yancey Stern, age 44, of Crofton, MD, passed away suddenly in his home. Husband of Angela Stern; loving father of Troy and Sophia. Beloved son of Theresa Schultz and Jerry Stern and Step-father Rick Schultz; Brother of Cassie Heiges and Doug Stern; step-brother of Elaine Otter, Tom, Rick, and Tim Schultz. Grandson of Laura and James Stern. Yancey was in the U.S. Marine Corp. during the Gulf War and received a combat action ribbon, along with numerous other awards.
