Florabel Stende

Florabel Florie Stende, 80, of Bowie, died on May 26. Born in Madison, Wisconsin, she graduated from Eastern High School and attended Luther College where she met and married Curtis Stende. They have lived in Bowie since 1964. She was a member of All Saints Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir. Florie was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Stende, and her son John. Florie is survived by her son Daniel, two daughters, Lali Crampton and Linda Gazell, son-in-law Michael Crampton, sisters Bonnie Luder, of Missouri and Birdee Hills, of Wisconsin; 12 Grandchildren and 4 Great-grandchildren. Services were held on June 2, 2012 at All Saints. Memorial donations may be made to All Saints Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 16510 Mt Oak Road, Bowie, MD 20716.
