Whitaker; devoted mother of Paul Simmons and his wife Kimberly; daughter of Olive Barnes and the late Edward Barnes, Sr.; sister of John, Cecil, and Edward Barnes; grandmother of Dallas and Jordyn. Family will receive friends at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 2020 Saint Joseph Drive, Largo, MD on Tuesday April 13, 2010 from 10:00am until Funeral Mass at 11:30am.
