Sylvia L. Cord

Sylvia L. Cord, 67, a 31 year resident of Gambrills, passed on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. She was born in Virginia on May 26, 1941. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Crofton and enjoyed cooking. Survivors include her husband, Carl Nick? Cord of Gambrills; children, Colleen Malone (Mike) of Annapolis, Lisa Bozzonetti (Steven) of Adams Town, Carl Cord, JR. (Alice) of Shadyside and Karen Houting (Dan) of Grossepointe, MI; a sister, Doris Staples of Chestertown, a brother, Eugene Simms of Oxon Hill; and seven grandchildren.Family will receive friends at the family owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 from 7:00-9:00pm, where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at 11:00am. Interment will be private.
