He retired from Westing House Electric Co. Friendship Division. Beloved husband of 57 years to Esther (nee Saupe) Ansel; loving father of Esther Dawson of Crownsville, MD, George Haydu of Clarksville, GA, and Gail Gilden of Alpharetta, GA; dear brother of Anna Shaver; cherished grandfather of nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Friends may call at the family owned Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Highway (route 3 south), Bowie, MD on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 from 7pm to 9pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 22, 10am at Faith Community Church, 1306 Waugh Chapel Road, Gambrills, MD. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD.
