Aditi Mondle graduated with honors in English language and literature from St. Joseph’s College, North Point , Darjeeling, India. Hailing from a family steeped in the cultural traditions of Bengal, Aditi was on the stage from the age of five, acting, singing and dancing. While in school at St. Joseph’s Convent, Chandernagore and at her college, she led the choir and played the female lead roles in Macbeth, Hamlet, Othello, As You Like It, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Romeo and Juliet, Twelfth Night, The Winter’s Tale, She Stoops to Conquer, You Can’t Take It With You, Mouse Trap, Pygmalion, Virginia Wolf, Judgment in Nuremberg, The Sound of Music, My Fair Lady, Annie Get Your Gun and other regional repertoire. She studied Western classical music and later North Indian classical music under the tutelage of the sarod maestro, the late Ustad Ali Akbar Khan. She performed in All India Radio and became the first person in India to produce, write and direct an English musical version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs done with indoor and outdoor shooting for the national TV channel Doordarshan India. She also presented documentaries on the Marble Palace in Kolkata and a study of different cultures titled Brides of India, both on Doordarshan.

Aditi migrated to the United States with her husband and son in 1979 and made her home in the San Francisco Bay area. She quickly became a very popular performer in the area and as well as in Los Angeles and Vancouver, B.C. Canada. Her renditions of classical ghazals as well as her own compositions are well known. She formed the first all female, Caucasian chorus Qawali troupe Kahekashan. She also presented lecture demonstrations of the songs of Rabindranath Tagore at UC Berkeley, San Francisco State University and California State University Hayward. While pursuing her passion for the arts, she continued to hold full time positions as Personnel Manager at J.C.Penney, Chief Accountant with U.C.C.R. a non-profit, Business Administrator with T.H.Rogers an engineering firm and CFO with SKM Consulting Engineers.

Aditi started to train her son Shouvik Mondle vocally from the age of 3 years. A graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and Julliard, he became the first Indian born Baritone to hit the world stage of opera. He also excels in Broadway musicals. Aditi quickly became immersed in this form and having had some experience in this genre of music, decided to make it her life’s ambition to promote it far and wide. She was the international liaison for the Joyce Agency of New York and the agent /manager for Shouvik Mondle’s international assignments. She worked with various international entities in several countries and acts as the spokesperson for the U.S. artistic groups with help and advice for showcasing their talents internationally.

She resided with her son in Bowie Maryland, USA.
