Anne Marie Giancoli, (Anne) 89, of Glenn Dale, MD, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.She was born on May 15, 1937, in Washington, DC.
During her life, Anne was an active member of the Circulators Square Dance Club and the Belair Square Cats, where she enjoyed traveling around the country for various conventions. She was also a devoted member of Ascension Catholic Church, where she sang in the church choir, & volunteered when she could.
Anne’s favorite place was Chincoteague Island, VA, where she owned a vacation home for many years. She loved the beach and took every opportunity she could to spend time there with her family and friends.
Anne cherished her family above all else. She loved them fiercely and never missed an opportunity to tell anyone who would listen how proud she was of their accomplishments. Always with a smile and a sense of pride that was unmistakable.
The love and support Anne poured into the people she cared for was immeasurable. She had a generous heart and a way of making everyone around her feel loved, welcomed, and cared for. Her home and her heart were always open, and the memories she created with her family and friends will be cherished for generations to come.
Anne was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Ivo Andrew “Andy” Giancoli, and their son, Andrew Joseph Giancoli.She is survived by her two daughters, Theresa Sutton of Knoxville, MD, and Joyce Limon of Ellicott City, MD; her four grandchildren, Sara Sutton and Jami, Greg, and Jenna Limon; and her sister, Michele “Micki” Abraham.
Anne will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her love for her family, her warmth, and the memories she created with those around her will remain in their hearts forever.
