Anthony Lealand Morris, Sr.

Anthony L. Morris, Sr. affectionately known as “Tony”, passed away on December 12, 2023, at the UM Capital Region Medical Center in Largo, Maryland.  Tony was 59 years old and born on May 19, 1964, in Bethesda, Maryland to the late Lealand and Marie Morris (Edwards). 

Tony received his education in the Prince Georges County School System.  Tony enjoyed talking and was multi-talented.  He demonstrated this through the various jobs that he held in sales, the casino and restaurant industry.  His final position was in automotive sales. 

He enjoyed football, surfing the web and spending quality time with family and friends.  His favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys. 

He is survived by his loving mother, Marie Edwards; five children:  Delilah Delerme (Angel), Sharita Morris, Shavonna Morris, Anthony L. Morris Jr. (Sarana Bijou) and Adison Morris; six grandchildren; sisters: Lisa Williams (Anthony), Chantell Stevenson and Tamala Rosser; brother:  Elvin Morris Sr.; uncles: Bruce Winters (Wanda) and Rodney Morris (Regina); aunts: Frances Robertson; Gail Holmes and Delores (Adele) Trimiar and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Tony is preceded in death by his father, Lealand Morris.

At the request of Tony, there will not be a service.  Please keep the family in your prayers during this difficult time.
