It is with great sadness that the family of Antonio Sanchez (Tony) announces his passing, on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at the age of 88 years. Tony will be lovingly remembered by his children, Tony, Yvette, Yvonne (Hardy), and Paulette (Tony). Tony will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Desiree, Donovan, Justin, Adam, Maia, and Nick. He was predeceased in death by his wife, Frances Herndon-Sanchez, and his grandson, Noah.

Tony was born in Puerto Rico and came to NYC when he was 18 years old. After graduating from Benjamin Franklin High School, he joined the United States Air Force.

After retiring from the Air Force, Tony worked for NASA for 17 years. He married his second wife, Frances in 1988 and they were married for almost 20 years.

Tony had many passions in life...the Air Force, history, geography, the Yankees, and his family.

Tony wanted “To Be remembered as an honest human who tried my best. Hurt no one, helped many.”

In memory of Tony, a Viewing will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 10am - 12pm, at Beall Funeral Home: 6512 NW Crain Highway Bowie, MD 20715. The Funeral Service will be from 12pm - 1pm. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a future date.
