To know her was to love her.
April Sunday Fleshman, 64, of Cape Saint Claire in Annapolis, Maryland, passed away on November 15, 2025. She lived her life with purpose, joy, and compassion, touching the hearts of everyone she met. Her infectious smile, loving heart, and generous spirit were the essence of who she was.
April loved the beach, spending time with her friends and family, and was a devoted movie buff. She worked in construction for many years — managing offices, training others, and taking great pride in helping people succeed in their careers. In her school years, she twirled majorettes and later loved coaching and encouraging others to do the same.
Her kindness extended far beyond her everyday life — April gave generously to many cancer organizations, always wanting to support others who were facing difficult times.
April endured great loss, having recently said goodbye to her beloved husband of 43 years, Jimmy Fleshman. She is also predeceased by her sister Sheri Sunday Grove and her parents. She is now reunited with them in eternal peace.
She is survived by her sister, Becky Sunday, along with many loving aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces, and nephews who adored her.
April will be remembered for the light she brought into the world — her kindness, her strength, and her unwavering willingness to give. She touched many lives, and her memory will live on in every heart that knew her.
