Arminda Pleitez of Laurel, Maryland, passed on 05/07/26 of Interstitial lung disease.

Arminda was born on 05/30/44 in La Union, El Salvador, and later migrated to Washington, Dc in her twenties. She worked in various professions, including domestic work and caregiving.

Arminda was known for her willingness to help those in need, for generosity and tough love, and her thoughtful sarcasm. She loved swimming, baking, sewing, gardening, shopping, and spending time with her grandchildren; most importantly, she was a woman of faith, a believer in Christ.

Arminda is survived by her husband Esteban Pleitez and her three daughters, Ana, Angela, and Cecilia. Sons-in-law Oscar, Gene, and Kevin; her nine grandchildren: Oscar, Gabriel, Elizabeth, Jaden, Carter, Isabel, Olivia, Alyssa, and Elijah. Sisters: Istmenia, Azalea, Rosa, and Saidy. Her brothers, Francisco and Jose. nieces and nephews.

Proceed in death her grandmother Angelina Marconi, her mother Dora Melgar Avendano, her brother Julio Melgar, and her sister Patricia Rivas,

She is a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who will truly be missed.
