August Edward Lackey Jr.
“Ed” passed away 9/6/2024 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD. He was a lifetime resident of MD. He graduated from High Point High School in 1957, served the US Marines from 1957-1963, and received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland. He had a long career in telecommunications with AT&T.
He enjoyed cars, fishing, Ravens, football, NASCAR, puzzles, good food, and an occasional beer with his friends at Ferndale Tavern.
Ed is survived by a host of loving family and friends. He will be inurned at Arlington National Cemetery.
