Betty L. Barron

September 14, 1944 — March 5, 2023

Bowie

Our beautiful and loving angel gained her wings on March 5, 2023.  Betty Barron was born in Alliance, Ohio, to Isaac Barron II and Clara Barron on September 14, 1944.  Betty was the second of seven children she had four sisters and two brothers.  Two of her sisters (Florence Tabb and Areta Clemons) and both of her parents preceded her in death.

Betty was an amazing woman who impacted the lives of many with her kindness, generosity, fun-loving and intrepid spirit.  She was passionate about helping others and enjoyed being with family and friends.  In 1964 Betty married Daniel Hunter and from the union four children were born.  She is survived and missed by her four children: Kim (Guillermo) Samuels, Terah (Charles) Shelton, Daniel (Trudy) Hunter, and David (LaVita) Hunter.  Forever cherished and remembered by her twelve grandchildren, one preceded her in death; eleven great-grandchildren; two sisters (Caroline Barron and Clara Barron) and two brothers (Isaac Barron III and Curtis Barron), along with many adored nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and church family.

Betty’s family and friends are grateful to God for the time they had with her and the fond memories.

She is:

Forever in our hearts, always in our memories

Miss Me But Let Me Go

When I come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom filled room why cry for a soul set free!  Miss me and think of me but not with your head bowed low.   Remember the love and fun times we shared, Miss me, but let me go!  For this is a journey we all must take, and each must go alone; It’s all a part of the Master’s plan a step on the road to home.  When you are lonely and sick of heart go to the family we know, and bury your sorrow in doing good deeds, Miss me, but let me go.
