Brenda J. LeClerc

Brenda J. (Eldridge) LeClerc, 74, of Odenton, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie, Maryland.

Born on October 16, 1948, Brenda grew up in Star Lake, New York and attended Clifton-Fine Central School. She met her late husband and best friend, Gene, in a New York diner where she once worked. They were married for 30 years and shared a love of life, sports, and especially, watching their grandson, Andrew, play on local and national baseball teams, traveling with him to numerous out-of-state tournaments. 

A devoted and lifelong Catholic, Brenda was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bowie. She enjoyed Coca-Cola, cooking, grilling out, rooting for the New York Yankees, and taking neighborhood walks with her sweet dog, Baby.

Brenda is survived by her son Michael Sharpe; daughter Michele Keith; grandchildren Crystal Sharpe, Andrew Sharpe, Dylan Keith, Stevie Tynon, and Joie Sharpe; sisters Ginger LeRoux and Linda Hammond; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gene LeClerc; mother Dorothy (Akey) Eldridge; sister Constance Miranda; and daughter Jodi Sharpe. 

Brenda touched many lives with her kindness and loyal friendship. She will be greatly missed by all those who dearly loved her.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 Crain Highway, Bowie, MD. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Sacred Heart Chapel, 16501 Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD. The burial service will follow at 11:30 AM at Maryland Veterans Cemetery Chapel, 1122 Sunrise Beach Road, Crownsville, MD. To leave condolences, please visit: www.beallfuneral.com.
