Carol A. Webb (Still) passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on April 16, 2023, due to natural causes.

Carol was born in Bridgeport, CT on January 23, 1938, to the late Carroll and Lorraine (Caverly) Still. She graduated from Haverhill High School (MA) in 1955 and then attended Bridgewater State Teachers College (MA). In 1958, she married Lt. Colonel (Ret.) Earl E. Webb. Together they traveled the world for 20 years with the U.S. Army while raising 4 children. Upon returning to the U.S., they settled in Bowie, MD. After excelling as a stay-at-home mom for 27 years, she began a 15-year career behind the front desk and as a dental assistant at the office of Dr. Arthur Lembke on Superior Lane.

In their retirement, Carol & Earl had the opportunity to travel to Alaska, Yosemite, the Bahamas and Ecuador.  They also enjoyed spending time with family and visiting friends. She and her oldest daughter, Nancy, achieved snowbird status by happily spending the last 2 winters in Florida.

Besides her family, Carol’s main love was for her Savior Jesus and her Cornerstone Church family, where she served the Lord and others.  She taught Sunday School, directed VBS, supervised Missionettes, led Older Adults Still In Service (OASIS) and provided meals for the Care Ministry.  She was a dedicated member of the congregation until her passing.

Carol was preceded in death by Earl, her loving husband of 62 years. She is survived by her four children, Nancy Hayden, Thomas, Amy (John) Altieri, Laura (Aaron) Fagan, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is also survived by her sister Sally (Gene) Snelling.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Parkinson Foundation of the National Capital Area, 3570 Olney Laytonsville Road, Suite 490, Olney, MD  20830.
