Carole Margaret Shadle

May 6, 1945 - March 4, 2026

Carole Shadle was born on May 6, 1945, in the small town of Keighley, located in West Yorkshire England. She was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Madge Thompson, sister Patricia Brannigan and husband Dennis Shadle.

Carole passed away on March 4, 2026, after a long battle with cancer. Carole is survived by her son Darren Shadle, granddaughter Ashley Shadle, brother Greg Hewitt, her best friend Gloria White-Byrd and a host of relatives, friends and co-workers.

Carole began her career at Contemporary Services Corporation (CSC) on May 2, 1994, as the Office Manager and was eventually promoted to Payroll Manager. Carole was known for her “English” accent which she never lost even after the many years living in the United States. She retired from CSC on July 29, 2025.

Carole was loved by many coworkers who described her as that kind English speaking lady when they couldn’t remember her name. Carole worked at various CSC venues such as RFK Stadium, DC Armory, Royal Farms Arena (now CFG) to name a few. Carole will surely be missed.
