Charlene A. Raley

Charlene was full of life and never wanted "grass to grow under her feet."  She traveled with work and for pleasure and her niece's and nephew's for their sports activities, made many friends/acquaintances along the way.  Charlene loved her sports (mostly hockey) and enjoyed watching them in person if possible, but mostly on TV. 

After 42 years with USDA, she retired in July 2016 and was enjoying her new life.

Charlene is survived by her sisters (Mary (Bill - husband), Tina (Neal - husband) and Angelina), nieces (Ashley (Stephen -spouse and Sofia and Charlotte - great nieces) and Danielle) and nephews (Justin (Kellie - spouse) and Steven). 

A Celebration of Life is planned for Friday, August 11, 2023 at the Knights of Columbus, 6111 Columbian Way, Bowie, MD  20715, 5:00 - 8:00.  In her honor, Charlene loved Mexican food, so this will be provided for all to enjoy.  If anyone has anything to say about Charlene, please do so at any given time during this celebration.

Charlene's favorite color was RED, so as a tribute to her, we would appreciate it if you would wear RED (of some kind) to this celebration.

Please no flowers and in lieu, plant a tree in her name.  Thank You Everyone
