Cheryl Ann Gibson

Cheryl Ann Gibson, 64, was born on November 27, 1958, in Leonardtown, MD to the late Andrew Jackson Gibson and Mary Francis Gibson O’Connor. She was baptized in 1960 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Ridge, Maryland. Cheryl transitioned from this life on October 26, 2022, at Adventist HealthCare, White Oak Medical Center, Silver Spring, MD.

Cheryl lived at Family Service Foundation, Incorporated’s (FSF) home in Montgomery County, Maryland for nearly twenty-one years, where she was a beloved member of the household. Cheryl was a lively, creative and loving spirit whose hobbies were creating jewelry, dancing, playing checkers, and going into the community to eat at her favorite restaurants. She enjoyed eating different foods from many cultures and some of her favorites were rice, pizza, and chicken.

Cheryl is survived by her siblings Pamela Lindsey of Great Mills, MD (David); Linda Rice of Florissant, MO (Edward); Jack Gibson of Lexington Park, MD (Tess); Thomas “Tony” Gibson of Killeen, TX (Kim); a host of nieces and nephews; and her peers and caregivers at Family Service Foundation. Her brother Timmy Gibson preceded her in death in 2010, and is survived by his wife Tonya Gibson (“TJ”).

The family will receive friends at a graveside service on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1911 Forest Drive, Annapolis, Maryland.
