Cheryl A. Harding

April 16, 1962 — November 24, 2021

After a decade long battle with cancer, Cheryl Ann Harding passed away peacefully on November 24, 2021, at the age of 59 in her Bowie, MD home.  Her parents, Charles and Thelma Harding, preceded in her death, as did her brother, Johnny Harding, and her beloved dog, Ares Boo. She is survived by her brother Dennis Harding; her nieces Crystal Harding and Julia Harding;  her half-sister, Dottie Skeens, and her children, Paul Skeens, Debbie Skeens, and Jenny Skeens; her honorary sister Maria Walls; her beloved dog Scruffy; other relatives; and a  host of colleagues and friends who considered her family.  She was known for her terrific baked goods (like her heavenly strawberry cake), as well as her thoughtful knitted gifts for family and friends.  She enjoyed painting, crafting, and staying in touch with the people she loved. She will be remembered as a great sister, a thoughtful friend, and a beloved co-worker.

“In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.” – Abraham Lincoln
