Christopher M. Wood

Christopher "Chris" M. Wood

     passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022 at John's Hopkins in Baltimore, MD at the age of 50. Chris was born December 6, 1971 in Upper Marlboro, MD. He graduated from Frederick Douglass High School in 1989.

     He was a Prince George's County Police officer from 1993-2017. After retirement from the Police Department, Chris returned to the county as an investigator in the W.A.V.E. Unit from 2017-2022. Chris enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time outside with his German Shepard, Karma.

Chris is preceded in death by his wife, Amanda C. Wood.
He is survived by his son Zachary M. Wood, Mother Linda J. Spencer, Step Father James R. Spencer,
Father Robert A. Wood, Step Mother June Wood.
Chris is also survived by his two sisters :
Tracy L. Keeton (Randy) and Trina D. Dunn (Scott)
and two brothers : Frank Wood and Jeff Wood.
Step Brothers Tracy and Troy Spencer, Step Sisters Tonya Hopkins and Terry Jackson.
Chris also had nephews, cousins and
extended family that will miss him immensely.

Memorial Service will be held on
Friday, October 14, 2022
from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m
at

Upper Marlboro, MD 20772
