Christy Lynn Crotty (age 63), of Centreville, Maryland, passed away the morning of August 24 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore with her husband, Keith, and her son, Sean, by her side. Christy was the beloved wife of Keith W. Crotty, Sr., for over 42 years.

Born March 7, 1963, in Riverdale, Maryland, she was a graduate of Bowie High School in Bowie, Maryland, in 1981. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Sharon O’Connell, and her sister, Cathy O’Connell. She is survived by three brothers.

As a stay-at-home mother, Christy was devoted to raising her two sons, Keith, Jr., of Williamsburg, Virginia, and Sean (Bernadette) of Alexandria, Virginia. She was a doting GIGI to Sean's two sons, Ethan and Edward.

She enjoyed home decorating, hosting family social events, traveling, and babysitting her grandsons. She will be remembered for her unconditional love and never-ending devotion to her husband and family. She will be missed every day.

A visitation and service will be held on Saturday, September 5, at 2:00 p.m. at the Beall Funeral Home, 6512 Crain Hwy, Bowie, MD 20715, followed by a repast at 4 p.m. at Nonna Angela's, 2225 Defense Hwy, Crofton, MD 21114.
