Clarice Elizabeth Harris, (90) of Largo, MD, fell asleep in death peacefully on December 20, 2025, at Larkin Chase Nursing Center. Affectionately known as “Sissy and Miss Clarice” by family and friends, she was born on January 5, 1935, to Albert and Veronica Waugh in Washington, DC. Clarice attended the DC public school system and was employed as a laundry worker at Virginia Linen for over 30 years. She married Charles J. Harris on July 7, 1955, and they raised three children Denise, Gregory, and Reginald (Tony). She was a proud mother with a deep love for her family, and she enjoyed being with them the most.

After traveling to Richmond, VA to the annual conventions of Jehovah’s Witnesses with her daughter for years, Clarice started to study the Bible with Geraldine Nelson and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on August 27, 2005. She was a faithful and dedicated servant of Jehovah for 20 years.

Miss Clarice was preceded in death by her husband Charles J. Harris, parents Veronica and Albert Waugh Sr., brothers Albert Jr. and Joseph Waugh, and son Gregory Harris. She is survived by children Denise Harris and Reginald Harris (Donna); two granddaughters Allyson White and Jasmine Harris-Trotter; one great granddaughter Amari Trotter; one sister Doris Bell; and a host of other relatives and friends.
