Darlene Kay Grantham

She was born in Hagerstown, Maryland in 1947 to Lawrence Bentley Grantham Sr. and Betty Jane Kline Grantham. Darlene attended Northwestern High School before studying secondary math education at University of Maryland, College Park. Upon graduation she began her 40+ year career at Montgomery County Public Schools, working at numerous schools including Wheaton, Churchill, Seneca Valley, and Northwest, along with a couple years at Computer Technology Services, before retiring in 2010.

Darlene was a cherished sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend. She loved Maryland sports, reading, and crocheting afghans, scarves, and hats for her loved ones. She also enjoyed selling them at craft fairs.
