Davier Jai-merson Tucker (DJ) , 19,  of Fort Washington, Maryland, passed away at the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center on September 5, 2023. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island on November 4, 2003.

DJ was the beloved son of Danielle Owens-Tucker, father Emmanuel Barada and dad Jackson McDonald.

Davier moved to Maryland in 2017 with his family. DJ played on basketball and football teams in Rhode Island and Maryland as well. He graduated from Crossland High School in 2022. Davier immediately attended Job Corp and received a certificate in welding.

DJ had a true talent for art. He created drawings and designed clothing. His brand was “Cover Art” made.by.DaDon.Davi. While working at Marshalls and Snipes shoe store he continued to develop his brand.

Davier loved his family dearly and was happy when his family was all together. His smile could make anyone smile.

In addition to his parents, DJ leaves behind his adoring brother Damari Tucker. He is also remembered by his two grandmothers Valerie Owens (MD) and Estelle Barada (RI), his grandfather Francisco Barada Sr. (RI) and the welcomed by his grandfather the late Joe Tucker Jr. (RI). He leaves his great-grandmother Ernestine Tucker (DE) and great-great grandmother Christine Word (DE). Davier is remembered by his two favorite aunts Devona Tucker (MD) and Angelina Barada (RI), his favorite uncle Rudy Davis III (MD) and great-uncle Frank King (FL) . DJ has seven other aunts and four additional uncles. DJ leaves is God-mother/cousin Quiana Hayes (TX) and his two God-Fathers Caleb Johnson (FL) and Dwayne Kilgore (RI). Davier is remembered by many cousins including his cousin/sister Anissa Rivera (MD) and cousin/brother Noble Matthews (MD).

Davier will be remembered by many family members and friends in Maryland, Rhode Island and other east coast states.

His Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 Crain Highway, Bowie, Maryland 20715. Visitation will be from 11am – 12pm and the service will be at 12pm.
