Dawn Shenk Oliveri

Of Seabrook, Md. passed away on September 26, 2021 at her home. Born in Washington D.C., she attended McKinley Tech High School and graduated from the Univ. of Maryland in 1951.  She taught physical education before her marriage then later worked for many years at the Univ. of Maryland. In 1964 she became the first woman inducted into the Greater Washington Fastpitch Softball Hall of Fame. Predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Robert Oliveri, Sr., she is survived by her three children, Robert Oliveri Jr., Robin Oliveri (Brian) and Leslie Oliveri Doser (Chris) along with her four grandchildren April and David Holmes and Zachary and Jackson Doser.
