Dennis G. Luces

Dennis Godfrey Luces passed away Monday 25^th April at the age of 67 after a long illness at his home with loved ones who will continue to honour his legacy by living life to the fullest.

After completing high school in Trinidad, he later bartended at Hilton Trinidad for a few years specializing in mixing iconic local drinks.

The simplest pleasures in life brought Dennis great joy, from planting in his vegetable garden, to an evening with friends accompanied by a drink in hand.  Dennis often visited his homeland and enjoyed the beauty of fresh spring flowers.  He had an uncanny ability to find happiness in his daily activities.  

Dennis is survived by his loving wife Celestine. He was the son of Godril & Roseanna (dec). Brother of Renaldo (dec), Frederick, Shirley, Bernadette (dec), Bernard (dec), Dixon and Anthony. Nephew of Matilda Tannis and Uncle Sonny (dec).  Brother-in-law of Shirley, Patsy, Maslina, Anthony, Joycelyn, Arlene, Norma and Ezambeert.  Uncle of Janelle, Sasha, Ria, Keith, Grace, Ann-Marie, Kendall, Yvette, Odette (dec), Gilbert, Rolinson, Dexter, Clive, Junior, Kevon, Jeheil, Jason, Josephine, Arie, Shaun, Barry, Dawn (dec), Kerwin and Kelvin. Cousin of Glen, Joseph and many more.  Great uncle of many.  Friend of many.

St Matthias Catholic Church will be hosting the funeral on Wednesday 11^th May 2022.  Viewing will be held from 10am – 11am, the service will commence at 11am, followed by a graveside ceremony at Resurrection Cemetery.  A repast will be held after the graveside ceremony (Location TBD)
