Douglas Kris Taylor

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Douglas (Doug) Kris Taylor on Saturday, Jun 3, 2023 after a long enjoyable life. Doug was born on August 24, 1941 in San Francisco, California and was adopted by William and Genevieve Taylor. Doug spent part of his life in the construction trades specializing as a concrete worker and part of his life as a truck driver crossing the U.S. as a moving company packer, loader and driver. Doug finally settled down in the late 1980s in Jacksonville, North Carolina.  Doug eventually moved to the Bowie, and Upper Marlboro, Maryland areas in 2006 where he remained until his passing. Doug is predeceased by two of his former three wives, burying both Patricia and Debra after they succumbed to cancer. Doug was a kind man, willing to give his time and experience to help anyone.  Doug is survived by his Son Douglas K. Gerringer (Stephanie), his five grandchildren; Shelby, Lauren Megan, Michael, and Christi; and his four great-grandkids; Olivia, Finley, Harvey and Ellie.
