Edward Odhiambo Owuor

Edward "Ted" was a brilliant and innovative Software Engineer having earned his Computer Network Engineering degree at Bowie State University and later attended the University of Maryland.  Ted was an early innovator in futuristic automation software and forged new frontier in designing and building computers with operational capacities enhanced beyond conventional industry standards.

Born in Nairobi, Kenya, Edward attended the prestigious Hill School Eldoret located in Kenya's Rift Valley where he excelled in intellect and leadership.  In the United States he attended St. Andrews-Sewanee School in Tennessee where he completed high school school and was a star soccer player. 

A fiercely independent individual, Edward faced the challenges life brought with courage, forging ahead with unflagging hope even after he was diagnosed with kidney failure in 2012. 

Edward lived a clean and disciplined life, keeping his mind sharp and caring for those around him.  He was a devoted and enthusiastic fan of the NASA program and enjoyed tracking the creation, launch, and discoveries made by the NASA Rovers Spirit &Opportunity's exploraton of the planet Mars. 

Edward is survived by his mother Beldina Auma, his stepfather Oliver Litondo, and his younger siblings Dr. Catherine Adoyo, Grace Jibril, and  Zack Ikem Arah who love him and will miss him very dearly.
