We are sad to announce that Eric Absalon from Bowie, Maryland passed away on December 24^th, 2022. He died at the age of 59, surrounded by his family who came to support him and reciprocate the unyielding familial love that he always gave them. Eric was born on May 24^th, 1963 to his mother Florina Absalon, and his father Lutgardo Absalon. The youngest of six children, he and his family moved to the United States to start life a new 1974. He returned to the Philippines in 1989 and met the love of his life, Marites Absalon. The two were married under the blessing of their families, and spent the next 32 years of their life together sharing an everlasting love for one another. During that time, Eric had two sons: Aaron Absalon and Noah Absalon. A caring father to both, he ensured that they grew up educated, protected, and with good morals, values, and beliefs. Eric strongly believed in the values of family, viewing them as his true purpose in life. He valued being there for others, never turning down the chance to help someone in need. Most importantly, he was a man of God. Eric was thankful to God every day for his many blessings in life, and always looked to the Lord for guidance in his times of need. Eric has returned to the loving arms of the Lord, survived by his wife and two sons. He will forever be remembered by his family and friends as a loving husband, benevolent father, and devoted Christian.
