Ernest L. Ramsey

Ernest Lee Ramsey 

July 7, 1954 - August 6, 2023

 

Ernest “Ernie” Ramsey was a simple man, who lived a simple life. He was one of 12 children. He was an A plus carpenter. There’s nothing he couldn’t fix or build. He loved singing, Elvis Presley being his favorite. He took great joy in helping others, no matter the task. He also loved his little dog, Max.

 

Ernest “Ernie” Ramsey was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Kearns, his father John Ramsey, Sr., his beloved brothers John Ramsey, Jr., Melvin Ramsey, Pete Ramsey, James Ramsey, John-Luther Ramsey, and James Ramsey, and his beloved sister Margaret Ramsey.

 

He is survived by his sisters Etta Ramsey and Hazel Ramsey and his brothers Joe Ramsey and Richard Ramsey.

 

Funeral services for Ernest “Ernie” Ramsey will be held at 11am Saturday, August, 19 2023 at Woodlawn Baptist Church 5001 Church Rd. Bowie, MD followed by a repass lunch at 12019 Van Brady Rd.
