Florine Sjoblad

Florine Sjoblad of Bowie, MD passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on May 30, 2022 at the age of 74. She was born on April 12, 1948 in Clinton, MA and dedicated her life to helping others. Florine was a special education teacher, administrator and retired in 2011 completing over 30 years of service with Prince George’s County Public Schools. She loved helping, listening to and comforting others but rarely complained about her own issues or challenges. Florine deeply and unconditionally loved her family, children and grandchildren. She also loved to drive, cook and visit New England beaches and eat lobster. Florine is survived by her daughter Allison Sjoblad and granddaughter Braylin Green of Bowie, MD, her son Nathan Sjoblad, daughter-in-law Caren and grandsons Jaxson and Jace of Finksburg, MD. Florine is also survived by her niece Michelle Barnes of Beltsville, MD. She was preceded in death by her father Florian, her mother Madeline and her brother Richard Ciesluk. Florine is also survived by her sister Sandra Rudenauer (Skip), Lori McEwen (Christopher), sister-in-law Camille Ciesluk and her brothers Paul Ciesluk (MaryJane) and Michael Ciesluk. Florine is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Viewing service will be held on Thursday, June 9th from 5-7 p.m. at Beall Funeral Home in Bowie, MD. Memorial service will follow on Friday, June 10th at 12 p.m. Burial immediately following at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Annapolis, MD
