George W. McCeney, Sr.

On Thursday, January 2, 2020, George W. “Bill” McCeney, Sr. of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, passed away at the age of 85. He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty years, Ann McCeney, and survived by his children, Sharon McCeney, George McCeney, Jr., and Janice Speth (Artie); and his grandchildren, Kevin, Kimberly and Cheyenne.  Also, he is survived by his two sisters, Anne Hairfield and Patricia Sahadachny, nieces, and nephew.

George graduated from the University of Maryland - Business degree (1958).  He was with Safeway - Store Manager 1952-1967.  He was the Owner of Mac’s Market from 1968-1984.  He was a Merchandiser/Demonstrator from 1985-2010.  George was an avid Redskins and Orioles fan!
