Her life became an adventure when she met her future husband, Ken Boyer, at the age of 20. Together for 32 years and married for 30, their journey took them up and down the eastern seaboard, following Ken’s career path from the Marine Corps to the nation’s capital. Heather lovingly and gracefully adapted to every new home, proving to be the heart of the family and the glue that held their dreams together.A devoted stay-at-home mother, Heather was passionately dedicated to raising her sons, Brendon and Ryan, and cherished her role as “Grammy” to her grandson, Connor. She found joy in cooking, baking, and crafting with her family, making every holiday memorable with thoughtful, personalized gifts.Heather was preceded in death by her father, Robert Johnson, and her father-in-law, Kenneth Boyer. She also leaves behind her mother, Bonnie Grant (Dennis); sister, Heidi Paquette (Tony); sister-in-law, Amy Boyer-Dee (Kevin); brother-in-law, Robert Boyer (Alicia); mother-in-law, Donna Maguire; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces.Ken beautifully expressed that Heather was promoted from being his wife to his guardian angel, emphasizing how truly blessed he was by her unwavering love and support throughout their life together. He shared, “She was one of a kind—able to adapt and thrive as I dragged her up and down the eastern seaboard trying to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up. She was the part of the team that made the dream work.”Heather shared a special bond with her mother, Bonnie, speaking with her daily. She treasured exploring family history, flipping through old photographs, and creating handmade keepsakes filled with precious memories.Ken and the family express their immense gratitude for the overwhelming love, support, and kindness shown through calls, texts, and visits.
