On Thursday, August 2, 2018, of New Carrollton, MD. Beloved husband of the late Betty A. Highsmith; loving father of Glenn B. Highsmith (Terry), Gary L. Highsmith and Alice Lentz (Paul). Dear grandfather of Steven, Lauren, Judy, Lisa, Brian, Michelle, Courtney and Katelynn and seven great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends at the Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm. A funeral service will be held at All Saints Lutheran Church, 16510 Mt Oak Rd. Bowie, MD on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 11am. Interment, Fort Lincoln, Brentwood, MD.
