Hubert Bunyea, III

On Monday, January 6 2020, Hubert Bunyea III, loving husband and father of two children passed away at the age of 76. Hubert was born on May 3, 1943 in Washington DC, to Hubert II and Marjorie Bunyea.
On January 18, 1963, he married Carrol Joe Kern. Hubert (Hughie) grew up in West Lanham Hills MD and graduated from Bladensburg High School in 1961. They lived in West Lanham Hills until 2000 when he and his wife moved to Bowie.
He retired from the Government Printing Office in Washington DC. Hubert was preceded in death by his father and mother, his sisters Marlene and Margie Ann. He is survived by his wife Carrol, his daughter Carol and (Mel) Cuesta, his son Hugh and (Angie) Bunyea, brother Dan and (Barb) Bunyea, brother Chris and (Debbie) Bunyea. Grandchildren, Dustin, Hollie, Carmela, Clinton and Dylan and 3 great grandchildren. Hughie had a passion for woodworking, silk screen, photography and sketching and enjoyed watching the birds come to his feeders. He was known for his quick wit and dry humor.
Family will receive relatives and friends at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD 20715 from 1:00pm to 2:30pm with a service from 2:30pm to 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association P.O. Box 15829, Arlington, VA 22215.
