Hyacinth Agatha Sharpe

Hyacinth Agatha Sharpe gained her heavenly wings at George Washington University Hospital in Washington DC on August 7, 2022, at the age of 86. She was born on January 7, 1936, in Manchester, Jamaica to the late Isoline and Henry Sulph. She was united in holy matrimony to the late Glen Sharpe for 44 years. She is survived by son Brian (Shawnett); daughter Lorraine (Kevin); son Marton (Leslie); six grandchildren, Russhane, Jaiah, Peyton, Marton (MJ), Maxwell, Melah; great-grandchild Armani; brother Euton; sister Jeneva and sister Minette. She is also survived by a host of extended family, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and life-long friends. To many she is known as Hya or Icy. She was preceded in death by her brother Ervin and brother Richard.

She was a caring, loving and giving soul. She leaves behind a legacy of strong faith, love, dedication and commitment. She loved Christian music and sports, especially football and tennis, but most of all she loved her family. She will truly be missed and remembered for her kindness, warm smile, encouraging words and strength.
