Im Son Thornton

Im Son “Connie” Thornton passed away May 2, 2020 at Adventist Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland.  She was born September 2, 1936.  Connie loved to grow large crops of vegetables which she would cook into incredible dishes.  She loved to feed people with her exceptional culinary skills.  Connie is survived by her loving husband of five decades William C. Thornton and her two daughters Susan O Thornton and Ruby Thornton Bracy (Alex).  She is remembered by her five grandchildren:  Tomiko Mosby, William Diggs, Melvin Diggs III, Camille Thornton and Miyoko Mosby, many extended family members and all those that knew her.  A small private memorial will be held at Beall Funeral Home in Bowie, Maryland on Saturday May 10, 2020 to reminisce and say farewell.  Condolences are asked to be sent as a charitable contribution to Feed the Children at 1628 16^th St NW, Washington, D.C. 20009 or www.feedthechildren.org in her name in lieu of flowers.
