James (Jim) R. Mulcahy was born in Buffalo, NY on March 20, 1960, the son of Joseph F. Mulcahy and Jean M. (Barvian) Mulcahy. He is survived by his siblings: Joseph P. Mulcahy (Terri), and Joyce Mulcahy Jones (Stephen) along with many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Jim loved football and the Buffalo Bills, fishing, cooking, and woodworking. He worked as a Deposition Equipment Engineer at the U.S. Army Research Lab (Contractor) in Adelphi, MD. Jim was a devoted son and best friend to his mother, Jean. He is now reunited with both parents.
He was well respected for being helpful to his colleagues. Donations in his name may be made to any of the Veterans organizations which he himself supported; they include Tunnel to Towers, the Wounded Warrior Project or the VFW.
