Jerry Douglas Anderson, Jr.

Jerry Douglas Anderson was born August 27, 1961, and passed away on December 3, 2022.

Doug grew up in Forestville MD, attending Spaulding and Suitland High School, and spent most of his life in the Washington DC area. He was a dedicated worker, spending many years leading and guiding those in recovery.

He was a son, a brother, an uncle, a steadfast friend, he was a good man. Doug was kind and fierce, thoughtful, and protective of those he loved.
He loved all the nieces and nephews, both by blood and by friendships that extended into generations of many family trees. Uncle Doug was magical with so many children, always bring them treats, big and small.

He was a kind soul, but a tortured soul, battling against a demon he was unable to tame despite years of trying. May he finally have the true peace he never experienced in this life on earth.
