Joan Lynn Wicker

It is with great sadness that we share with you the passing of our beloved family member Joan Lynn Wicker, born May 5, 1943 in Washington, D.C. to Atwood and Ruth Wicker (nee Monteith). Joan is survived by her twin brother Gene (Lisa) Wicker, sisters Judith Burch and Linda Beard, and loving partner of 45 years, Norman Ripley. Joan was the aunt to many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousin to many. Joan had many friends and enjoyed getting together with them regularly. In addition to Joan being predeceased by her parents, she is predeceased by her younger brother, Milton Thomas Wicker.

Joan passed away peacefully at her home in Lanham, MD, whom she shared with her partner, Norman, on April 7, 2025. She will be dearly missed by so many.
