In loving memory of Ioannis Metallinos, who lived a life marked by resilience and dedication. Born in Corfu, Greece, he became a skilled barber at the young age of 14. At 18, he courageously joined the Greek army, and later married his love Olga Metallinos. In 1957, Ioanni and Olga welcomed their son Kosta.
In 1970, Ioanni embarked on a new chapter, moving to the United States with his wife and son. There, he established Corfu Barbershop, a testament to his hard work and entrepreneurial spirit. Through his craft, he not only shaped hair but also formed lasting connections within the community.
Ioanni leaves behind a legacy cherished by his son Kosta, three grandchildren, Yanni, George, and Christina, as well as his three great-grandchildren, Mary, McKenzie, and Elias. May his memory be eternal and a reminder of hard work, dedication and love to all who knew him.
